About the Tour
- Based upon the popular pub tours in Europe, The Original Pub Tour of Charleston, was founded in 2001, making it the first European style pub tour ever to be established in the city.
- These are some of Charleston’s most fascinating pubs—the ones that most visitors would never even know about on their own!
- Tour begins at our ticket shop located in the Rainbow Market Shops at 40 North Market Street in the heart of the historic City Market in downtown Charleston. Upon entering the Rainbow Market Shops, follow the hallway to the right and we are the last shop on the right. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early, as the tour will depart right on time.
- Lasts approximately 2 ½ hours long and covers between three and five historic pubs throughout the course of the tour. Appetizers for everyone are served along the way, at a couple of the pubs we visit.
- Being the only Pub Tour whose owners are experienced beer brewers, Lesesne Tours accompanies our guests inside each unique pub, where we can sit, relax, and have a beverage and some complimentary appetizers included for everyone, while telling some fascinating stories about the city’s 300+ years of times past.
- We provide a very intimate, specialized tour by keeping a small group size, and ensuring a personalized experience for all. We believe in quality over quantity so that everyone can enjoy a delightful, comfortable atmosphere during the course of the two hour journey.
- Come listen to true tales of bootleggers, ghosts, revolutionaries, presidents, and pirates who caroused the very streets on which you are walking. - The ticket price is $30.00 per person. We buy the food; however, LTC does not, by SC law, provide any alcoholic beverages for its patrons. Group discounts and private specialty tours are available for groups large or small (wedding parties, family occasions, birthday celebrations and more).
